Honda Brio
What is?
In an age when the car receives updates and changes as frequently as the event, Honda Brio is a bit of an outlier. Save for the introduction of automatic selection in 2012, Honda funny and cheerful hatchback did not see much change in the five years since its launch. In the end, though, here is the facelifted Brio. And facelift in the true sense of the word. Learning and cabin exterior has been given a makeover too, but the mechanicals have been left unchanged.
As was obvious, Brio basic shape remains the same, but a lot has been done to improve the design. As newly refurbished compact sedan brother, amazed, Brio also got a new nose; one that lends hatchback See more mature. Chief among the changes is a new grille that has a glossy black band that runs in width. Lowering restyled Front bumper a lot more defined and feature faux air intakes fog lamp housing.
What may continue to divide opinion is the styling at the rear. Honda has maintained all-glass tail-gate India, though Brio updated to Thailand received a revised unit. What Get Brio India is reprofiled tail lamps and rear roof-mounted spoiler new and they helped to see to a certain extent.
What is it like on the inside?
If there is one area where Brio takes most attention, it should cabins and especially so, dashboard. Brio original plain run it interesting and take up a lot of space is very roomy. So, we are happy to report Honda has been compiled on the dashboard of awe and BR-V. Dashboard design is more coherent and contemporary while the silver highlights and ornate faux carbonfibre add a bit of sportiness as well. Optional black seats and a redesigned instrument cluster further doing little to lift the cabin atmosphere.
Facelift also brings with it a longer list of equipment. The new Brio including electrical control system for the air-con, electrically folding exterior mirrors and also new 2-DIN audio system with Bluetooth connectivity.
Elsewhere, Brio remains unchanged. The front seats, while thin, is quite comfortable, with the driver's seat into a height-adjustable. Affords rear seat passenger legroom is decent, but let down by the short seat cushion and the consequent lack of support under the thighs. However, the rear seat is better and far more useful than what you get in most cars this size. Unfortunately, smallish boot Brio limits of practicality.
Move to the back and you get better and bigger spoiler roof / tailgate mounted and slightly updated set of tail lights that accentuate the trademark Brio round lighting design. A set of new and larger wheels (or even the wheel is the same painted dark gray or black) will actually go a long way to tie in a new grille and without pretense sporty But Honda have left it as - a bit disappointing ,
As mentioned previously, such as riveting, the real difference between the old and updated Brio one is in the interior. For starters, a brand new dashboard, basically the same you get BR-V and it looks much better than what the previous Brio. Circular AC vents have all been replaced by a set of sleek rectangular flanked by brushed aluminum inserts. Brushed aluminum theme continued on the wheel and the rest of the dashboard too and offset with gloss black surround infotainment.
One of our favorite design elements also must be a fake carbonfibre pattern on the dashboard, which when combined with black trim at the top of the line version actually tend to stand out. Another variant of the Brio kept getting a beige interior and we're guessing will continue to become more popular for regular car buying Indian people. Honda has improved the fabric on the chairs though, and now you get the material that breathes a lot better than before.
Infotainment system has also been raised directly form the BR-V. Though completely clean in terms of overall design, Honda should be considered (atleast on the car line) to offer a touchscreen infotainment system with features such as navigation and Apple-based CarPlay automatically. The fact that Brio is temporary did not have a car that is much cheaper, is in itself a fact disappointing. You do however get Bluetooth phone connectivity, steering wheel mounted controls and climate controls.
