Toyota unveils production-ready C-HR

Toyota unveils production ready C-HR

Toyota knew it was a bit late with the small crossover. So he thought it was to make a splash. C-HR is the spark.

"The designers drew the initial sketches for a concept car, and we told them 'stop there'. We do not tamper with it," Toyota Europe boss Karl Schlicht said TopGear.com. So that the production car is good enough to follow the concept. And yes that means it has poor visibility from the rear seat and the trunk is smallish. He was fine with it. "If everything else had to be compromised, the winning design."

The front end face of the latest Toyota carry the gene, but the side is something else. Metal under-directional double stone shells, and sharp Taper window line. If you think that the area around the door handle is a little messy, well, we agree. In the vicinity of the hatchback is all peacock's tail does not need aero: spoiler, extractors, diffuser.

Yup, there must be a whole lotta design going on here.

Inside, too. And you're hit by a tremendous step forward in the interior and quality for Toyota. This obviously has to spend money. "Europe demands more from around the world," Schlicht said, and the car was made for our continent. Soft materials and interesting textures. Diamond motif is all over the place: in the switch, even a dimple in the headlining.

Connected applications and end on JBL stereo entertainment features on the big screen. Driver assistance, at all levels, including the city of active braking and active cruise control.'

Toyota's massive business in today's hybrids. So dealers have ordered more than 70% of their first-stock C-hours as a hybrid. And by the way there first attract potential owners to C-HR of Toyota anything ever.

Hybrid has a 1.8-liter gasoline engine making 120hp, and the Holy emit 82g / km of CO2. Rivals did not come close in carbon. There's also a new 1.2 turbo with 114hp, available with FWD or 4WD. Front-driver manual, AWD CVT.

The engineers made big promises to the chassis dynamics, aided by Toyota's new global platform. We'll be the judge of that, when we get to leave in November.

Oh by the way before anyone says Urban Cruiser is Toyota's first small crossover, let's Toyota dignity quietly forgotten. The distance between it and the C-HR really bottomless.

Honda Mobilio 1.5 V

Honda Mobilio 1.5 V

It's not every day you are passionate about driving the latest MPV. After all, remove the illusion of automotive scribes just drive the car the most remarkable (and some really picky about it). Now, you have to make exceptions for Mobilio for one simple reason: it's Honda. At least, you know it's got a decent drive. Plus, because it was done impeccably well during the trip to Puerto Galera, should be done either on a regular drive. So after a week of putting it through its paces, it can certainly be concluded that Mobilio in a good car? Well, yes! This is especially true if you can not practice family planning.

Aesthetically, few people think Mobilio for visually-challenged. Honestly, there is no need for such harsh criticism. Of course, it does not look sharp as Jaz or HR-V, but it still had the meat styling to make it look attractive. It can be mistaken for a wagon with a planted stance. Compared with other MPVs, it is the only one to maintain a profile like a car that even though 189-mm ground clearance. In fact, without peering through the glass, you could mistake it for a cart. And who does not like wagon? Front-end is the most controversial; The terms of love-it-or-hate-it, but it makes him stand out. The rest of the package is more universally accepted.

With an interior that is largely shared by the twins Brio Brio riveting, settled in the cabin carries the smell of familiarity. Unlike polarizing exterior design, the interior is quite simple and easy. There is little attempt to provide a dashboard design that is impressive, but still fun because directedness that. In all honesty, every driver will be willing to trade aesthetic for something that can be operated with a touch of nuance. Mobilio passed that test. It takes less than a few seconds to get acquainted with the driver's seat and control. The price of less than one million pesos, a variety of hard plastic which is understandable, but at least the fit and finish are consistent.

Space-wise, it does the job became a family hauler that makes sense. Honda said it was supposed to ferry seven and that's possible; but realistically, if you want everyone to be comfortable, keeping the body count to six. Yes, there is good leg and knee room for everyone, but less shoulder room. The reason for this is simple: the width. Length is enough for three rows of seats, but with only a 1,683-mm wide, it was a bit cramped. What is lacking for the width, it makes up for in versatility. It is one of the best things with Mobilio. The third row folds in a 50/50 split and fell, hooking to the second line of cargo space. The second row folds, bending, and slide in a 60/40 split that allows Mobilio easy to match with the items long. And get this, you can fold down the second row or fall in any position without wedging against the rear of the front seats. It is a technique which is right there.

If there was one criticism you will level against though is felt Do AC taxed to handle seat in Manila. That's surprising given the fact that it was supposed to be horrible design Indian summer. It is to two things: the first is the poor position of the front air vents good blow cool air into your hand or the face (and not much else). Furthermore, the rear air conditioning unit has only ventilation in the sense of their second row in the third row will only have lifetimes in the back.

No one really expects MPV driving particularly well, but driving is the power of a great Mobilio. Again, without the third-row seat, it's really going to pass on a cart right. Whether it's the city, highway, or road curved, it feels pretty much like a car with an additional row seats. Electric power steering is light at the feedback, but is heavy on precision. Limit, the understeer, requires some correction steering, but at least there is a belief in pushing this MPV remains. On the way, it's not as convenient as Brio riveting, but not decisive as Brio. In other words, it is balanced. And this is in front of the recommended 32 PSI, the rear tire pressure regulation 42 PSI. An interesting note is that Mobilio wound did not appear to absorb sudden good road. Combined with a feeling of emptiness in underchassis, reducing the feeling of solidity even if there are no rattles discernable heard in the cabin.

With a 1.5 liter 4-cylinder, 120-horsepower figure makes it the most powerful in its class and driving the day-in and day-out, it shows. With one or two people on board, it was cheerful, darting through traffic with ease. Despite the strength really comes alive at high revs, there is a good power even from down low which makes the experience interesting. CVT took a split second to adjust, but it is not a deterrent to the fun factor. It feels really good for the people carrier; something that you really do not mind living with every day. As you start to accumulate in the passenger, drivetrain understandably started to get taxed. By the fifth or sixth, CVT has shifted the ratio is set to keep the search engine revs higher. Fuel economy, at 8.77 km / L is not so bad, but a small 42-liter tank means a bit of a maximum range of just 368 kilometers.

Mobilio is one of the Hondas more affordable that you can buy today. Although not part of the core brand vehicle line-up, it is now accepted by Buy society, capturing the interest of potential buyers. Week driving it, at least three people are required to take a closer look inside. Their curiosity at Honda Mobilio reasoned. 7-seater MPV is a steady seller in the Philippines and the industry as a sporty brand Honda decided to go in, it was a pleasant surprise for many. From the same company that popularized the whole VTEC and cultural customization, Mobilio presents itself as a legitimate member of the family. It was well-engineered and fun-to-drive whilst remaining practical for Filipino families.

Honda Brio

Honda Brio

What is?

In an age when the car receives updates and changes as frequently as the event, Honda Brio is a bit of an outlier. Save for the introduction of automatic selection in 2012, Honda funny and cheerful hatchback did not see much change in the five years since its launch. In the end, though, here is the facelifted Brio. And facelift in the true sense of the word. Learning and cabin exterior has been given a makeover too, but the mechanicals have been left unchanged.

As was obvious, Brio basic shape remains the same, but a lot has been done to improve the design. As newly refurbished compact sedan brother, amazed, Brio also got a new nose; one that lends hatchback See more mature. Chief among the changes is a new grille that has a glossy black band that runs in width. Lowering restyled Front bumper a lot more defined and feature faux air intakes fog lamp housing.

What may continue to divide opinion is the styling at the rear. Honda has maintained all-glass tail-gate India, though Brio updated to Thailand received a revised unit. What Get Brio India is reprofiled tail lamps and rear roof-mounted spoiler new and they helped to see to a certain extent.

What is it like on the inside?

If there is one area where Brio takes most attention, it should cabins and especially so, dashboard. Brio original plain run it interesting and take up a lot of space is very roomy. So, we are happy to report Honda has been compiled on the dashboard of awe and BR-V. Dashboard design is more coherent and contemporary while the silver highlights and ornate faux carbonfibre add a bit of sportiness as well. Optional black seats and a redesigned instrument cluster further doing little to lift the cabin atmosphere.

Facelift also brings with it a longer list of equipment. The new Brio including electrical control system for the air-con, electrically folding exterior mirrors and also new 2-DIN audio system with Bluetooth connectivity.

Elsewhere, Brio remains unchanged. The front seats, while thin, is quite comfortable, with the driver's seat into a height-adjustable. Affords rear seat passenger legroom is decent, but let down by the short seat cushion and the consequent lack of support under the thighs. However, the rear seat is better and far more useful than what you get in most cars this size. Unfortunately, smallish boot Brio limits of practicality.

Move to the back and you get better and bigger spoiler roof / tailgate mounted and slightly updated set of tail lights that accentuate the trademark Brio round lighting design. A set of new and larger wheels (or even the wheel is the same painted dark gray or black) will actually go a long way to tie in a new grille and without pretense sporty But Honda have left it as - a bit disappointing ,

As mentioned previously, such as riveting, the real difference between the old and updated Brio one is in the interior. For starters, a brand new dashboard, basically the same you get BR-V and it looks much better than what the previous Brio. Circular AC vents have all been replaced by a set of sleek rectangular flanked by brushed aluminum inserts. Brushed aluminum theme continued on the wheel and the rest of the dashboard too and offset with gloss black surround infotainment.

One of our favorite design elements also must be a fake carbonfibre pattern on the dashboard, which when combined with black trim at the top of the line version actually tend to stand out. Another variant of the Brio kept getting a beige interior and we're guessing will continue to become more popular for regular car buying Indian people. Honda has improved the fabric on the chairs though, and now you get the material that breathes a lot better than before.

Infotainment system has also been raised directly form the BR-V. Though completely clean in terms of overall design, Honda should be considered (atleast on the car line) to offer a touchscreen infotainment system with features such as navigation and Apple-based CarPlay automatically. The fact that Brio is temporary did not have a car that is much cheaper, is in itself a fact disappointing. You do however get Bluetooth phone connectivity, steering wheel mounted controls and climate controls.

That all about honda brio. if you interesting about this car. just buy it.
haha
