Honda Accord Coupe review 2016

Honda Accord Coupe

22

Fun and exciting Accord offers more than you expect, which helps make the 10Best winners for 2016. The 185-hp 2.4-liter four and six-speed manual is standard on the coupe and sedan; Sport models get a little bump to 189 hp. CVT optional, such as the 278-hp 3.5-liter V-6 with a six-speed automatic; coupe offers a six-speed manual - our choice. EX and above models feature CarPlay Apple and Android Auto, but some may find the infotainment system button-less intrusive and cranky.

instrumented tests

Think modern affordable two-door coupe as apple made out of one of the mutilator creaky, hand-cranked contraptions. Only in our metaphor pomaceous, the mechanism is the equation of a quid pro quo in which, ideally, impracticality door lowering the amount offset by the pretense of performance and driving the rear wheels. Arithmetic is creating things that are healthy and sticky latest Camaro, Ford Mustang and the twins BRZ / FR-S. The hotel also has a box out almost every two- door on the market except for the Honda Accord.

Even as berpenggerak coupe has all but disappeared, Honda has dug hard, refreshing agreement to 2016. It should be applauded for his persistence. Nissan stopped selling two-door Altima, and Toyota Camry Solara based long throw excessive. Some players are compact stick format, but When was the last time you heard anyone is pining SIMPUS or two-door (free-Si) own Honda Civic? And the Scion tC? Please. Outside a little style, there is little to recommend the cars. The deal was, or, presents the experience of the two-door car sportiest side pony.

As the performance of the machine, is the deck stacked against Accord coupe. Its specifications include front-wheel drive, large wheelbase is 107.3 inches and more than 61 percent of the mass of the US rose to the front wheels. But the old Accord coupe has exceeded the birdhouses and cosmetic tweaks that have not changed. V-6, six-speed manual version you see here is a case of friendly edge, with 278 horsepower and a plethora of new wounds, nonfunctional in bumper respectively. Power has not changed compared to the last Accord coupe we tested (2013 model), and the car weighed in six pounds of each other. It also ignored two tenths of a second slower to 60 mph - 5.8 ticks still-fast - and almost posted under the handle and stop a four-foot-long of 70 mph.

Unlike the Ford Mustang or Chevrolet Camaro, Accord coupe not the car number. No one will be impressed by Honda Performance statistics, but anyone can jump into the car and take a brisk pace. Though heavily biased weight distribution front Accord, nose never feels heavy, assisted steering sensation of light. Everything from the steering wheel pedal brake, clutch and suspension feel as if they are moving at high viscosity liquids, and the car just running down the street. Understeer keep you from going absolutely wild, but it was progressive and manageable.

V-6 sweet-sounding accordance jerking around with the spirit, and torque steer is really only when the plant out of the corners are very tight. You can buy a V-6 Accord coupe with six-speed automatic - or four-cylinder version with CVT - but the manual transmission is phenomenal, with short throws and perfectly spaced pedals. (Sticks available four-cylinder models, too, but you give up horsepower 93.) Our only complaint is easily solved with a twist: 2016 Accord sedan's sporting heavy manual gain full metal ball that we prefer over the coupe is lighter, plastic piece.

You will often hear the Accord coupe on high prices, at least relative to things like the Mustang and Camaro. But Ford has been effectively degraded Mustang V-6 with a rental car status with sincerity shouting "EcoBoost" from the roof of each, and the Accord premium over the Camaro V-6 has shrunk to $ 3,255 as Chevy makes room for the new coupe turbocharged four-cylinder base model. It is as impartial in the price of these cars ever, and at $ 31.745, Accord EX-L comes loaded with 18-inch wheels, leather seats, automatic climate control dual-zone, the driver's seat of power, front seats heated, roof, and LED rear lights fog lights. So it's not a rear-drive pony car, but for a buyer, it fit the bill perfectly as it is quickly filled with comfort.

Honda may ignore recipes with keeping the two-door Accord coupe industry berpenggerak - or keep it around at all-but the car remains attractive. Restyled bumpers and wheels did not spoil what was easily design sauciest in the Honda lineup, the rear seats can actually save a bipedal creature moderate stature, and a very large trunk. Consider driving satisfaction should cinnamon sprinkled on this delicious apples, crank manual transmission you want to remain in operation and rear-drive materials that are not important.

2016 Lexus GS350 F Sport

2016 Lexus GS350 F Sport
It is a luxury sedan for four people move great distances in comfort sincere. This is a fantastic machine if you need to take your aunt for lunch or schmooze clients suffer from decision-making. And it will not embarrass ourselves for six-tenths of a business in a road favorite.
What it will not do, however, is swaying fans looking for a lead performance or very involving dynamics.

What it will not do, however, is swaying fans looking for a lead performance or very involving dynamics.

More powerful, faster
Although this is largely the same as GS 350 Lexus launched in 2011, semiannual regular enhancements to the brand. For 2016, GS350 3.5-liter V-6 rated at 311 horsepower (gain 5) and 280 lb-ft of torque (on 3). Rear-drive models, like our test car, the torque through an eight-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel-drive versions get a six-speed automatic.

In track uneventfully GS slipped to 60 mph in 5.8 seconds - 0.3 second slower than the last version we tested, the 2013 models. It is also a full 1.2 seconds slower than the 2016 Audi A6, which enjoy the benefits of more power and all-wheel-drive traction launch.

A quarter-mile fell in 14.3 seconds at 101 mph, at which point the GS is a full mph second and fourth behind the A6. It also fell two-tenths and 1 mph From 2013 GS350, may be a consequence of this example is relatively green machine, which is only 600 miles on the clock.

Braking is a strong suit for the GS. F sport package adds 19-inch wheels wearing staggered (wider at the rear than at the front) Bridgestone summer tires, 14.0-inch-diameter two-piece front rotors and four-piston brake calipers. This is a solid package of hardware that is presented consistent pedal feel and sedan stopped 159 feet from 70 mph.

In and Out
Unlike the wackadoodle visual statements made by its spindle grille, the blue paint of our tester managed to look elegant and stunning in a light, day or night. Lexus exterior finish this job, the panel a perfect fit, as well as any car in the segment.

Inside there are fewer compliments. Overall the quality of the ingredients just mediocre by the standards of the segment. Skin does not have the elasticity offered by the German brand, especially on the head - and armrests. 16-way adjustable driver's seat, also part of the package F sport, is a gem for any body shape, though, and there was room to spare. Even six-footers fit comfortably in the back seat.

We have yet to come to terms with the Lexus Remote Touch interface, which uses a mouse-type controller with haptic technology access navigation and other infotainment functions. Audi MMI iDrive, COMAND Mercedes-Benz and BMW are all the more effective for controlling the system.

Shortage of small-item storage is easily accessible in the center console makes keeping handy smartphone is more difficult than it should be 2016. The door pockets and center console bin, which offers a sliding and tilting lid, modestly sized. Tachometer is located in the center of the instrument cluster is an indication that sport sedan Lexus has at least one priority right.

As tested, GS we rang up a price tag of $ 61.690, which included $ 4,115 upcharge F sports and several other options. If you are expecting is the ability to transport the family or clients in a complaint-free convenience, it is a reasonable cost. For the same expenditure, however, a luxury sport sedan offerings from Europe or America will do more to stoke the inner fire you when a good path inviting.

Ford Figo Aspire Preview 2016

Ford Figo Aspire Preview

The first thing I noticed was how much nicer Figo Ford Aspire seen in comparison with the competition - not just in the overall design of the physical, but also the exterior feel and fit-and-finish. While Maruti Suzuki Dzire and Hyundai Xcent look just plain ugly to me, riveting Honda managed to appear as a simple design and is average, at best. Figo Aspire take the sex appeal of a higher level. Heck, I'm talking about sex appeal for the compact sedan segment sub - strange times!

Ford did not want to show the latest products to the public long before the official launch. There is a display area that is established in several shopping centers - the company's marketing strategy adopted for EcoSport as well. I went to check it out on the screen and think that it is a miracle controllable lighting Figo Aspire conspicuous. I am happy to report that even in natural light, Figo Aspire really looks sharp and well turned-out. I think the best angle would be three-fourths of the guests.\

Aspire Figo flaunts the most balanced proportions in the segment, even better than the Tata spirit and Honda amazed. Ahead is particularly notable because the portions are huge and dominating grille, as global pronounced, looks very Aston Martin. There were also signs of MINI are trying to peek through the grille, which is not bad. I'm a guy aesthetically challenging. I suffer from agnosia when it comes to looks and beauty. But even I can say very clearly that Figo Aspire will walk away with the title if it goes the way against sub-compact sedan that there is - it really looks the most interesting of the lot.

Ford took a long time to react to this segment, but it finally has, and the results are rather interesting. Let me cut straight to the chase. It may be a product that is even more important than the hatch Figo will come out at the end of the year. The people at Ford realize that there are great opportunities here and they strive to provide the best possible package to the consumer.

I like the car has a lot of storage space in the cabin. Figo Aspire does not disappoint at all. There are not only many cup holders, but even the door pockets can hold a large bottle - everything is pretty useless. The glove box is also quite large and there are some other space holder that you can use for loose change, phone and other oddities. There is more than enough room in the cabin. I am a man tallish - just above the average height of India, and with the seat adjusted for my driving position, the same height can be seated at the back without complaining knees. At this point, I must, however, say that the legroom is not as good as Honda amazed and that's to the seat rail position and shape of the seat itself. Riveting has a lot flatter area and the legs do not feel compromised on comfort. The front seats are well designed and improved quite good, too. I like to sit low in my car, so it's great to know that Figo Aspire comes with height adjustment in two variants, but as the chair base down leaving little room under the pillow and an important part of the body. High person suffering from lower back problems may find that bothersome on continued use. The boot space - measuring 359 liters in volume and also to fit a medium sized bag without making the usual three we managed them difficult to adjust. Loading lip is rather high though.

Dual-tone interior treatment (beige-black combination) standards in four trims that Figo Aspire will be available in and give a great feeling of airiness to the cabin. It's been fun to have a darker shade of beige though - this time a little shade too bright! Ford has come uncomfortably close to the level of quality Japanese interior. Plastic bits feel above average and Asipre loaded to absolute maximum on most fronts. Got driver and passenger airbags as standard on all variants while the upper end trims get a six-six, in the sub-compact sedan! Impressive. Because I drove versions of Titanium Plus, I could not try the Mount MyFord dock the phone and you can access the navigation or music and more from it. We will try and do a separate account of just how it works in the future.

Figo Aspire will be made available with a choice of three engines: a 1.2-liter petrol, 1.5-liter diesel and 1.5-liter petrol will only be available with a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. This trip is not limited to just a few hours, but I get to sample the 1.2-liter gasoline and 1.5-liter diesel. I want to start with a variable-cam 1.2 to get the disappointing bit out of the way immediately.

A 1.5-liter diesel is the absolute opposite of gasoline reluctant. This 8-valve (yes, still!) Engine borrowed from the Fiesta and make 98.6bhp and 215Nm. That would make the Fiesta (which makes 90bhp) the owner of a lot of heavy fuming! The response to throttle inputs is quite good even from low revs and a very strong mid-range. It is a machine that is very flexible and very appropriate to the driver's input. While the gearbox does not really give much to complain about, I would be happy to act gearshift to be just a little bit more interesting and coupling to a lighter, and a bite to be a little more progressive.

What made me disappointed at the suspension setup. No, it left me confused. Yes, the confusion would be the appropriate term. I've had a really great time with Ford products in the past. I loved the original Ikon and Fiesta (now classic) in India and never exactly enjoyable first premium sedan I drove is a PHV. One thing that has been constant throughout all these cars are very different ride-handling balance. Aspire changing trends - a sad day for fans of Ford. The suspension is very biased town and did a great job going over bumps and holes. It is only when you to corner really hard that you compress the suspension to the limit and feel it is getting a bit stiff - at that point it could be fun. You would be silly to do that, but it would be nice funny. For most, it is a car that is soft to the usual home-to-office traveling. The steering wheel, too, unlike the Fords of the past, it has been absolutely no intimate relationship with you. It is quite precise and direct unit, but feel the emotion. Ford has done a great job of designing and packaging Figo Aspire use. In the process, though, it also has alienated Aspire of his DNA and he came across as very un-Ford-like experience.

Thats all about Ford Figo Aspire. thinking better for the best choice before you buy it.

Nissan Juke Review 2016

Nissan Juke

Strange. Offbeat. Funky. It seems wherever Nissan Juke go, they are three adjectives seem to follow. And we get it: crossover subcompact, Juke wear gates wheels and higher beltline badges generally respected, the effect is only amplified by the wedge side of the glass door behind ambiguous, tailgate round, and rotate the front and rear light lenses that rise, blisterlike, from the body surface. But to write off the Juke as a cheap carnival trick at the wheel would be detrimental.

engine performance

If you're looking for an indication of how serious need of Nissan Juke, you will find in the round of comprehensive revision of the engineers made to the 1.6-liter inline 4-cylinder 2015: piston reconstituted, the compression ratio is increased (now 10.5: 1, up from 9.5: 1 ), internal friction and engine weight has been reduced by switching from iron liners "and spray-coated mirror-finished cylinder boring" and inertia turbocharger lower. There are many more. Nissan also added a new function key intermediate in the intake continued Variable Valve Timing Control System, equipped with low-pressure EGR system to lower the temperature of the exhaust gas, switch to a variable-pressure oil pump and injector performance is optimized. This is clearly more than just tweak tuning.

Although significant hardware updates, the second-gen 1.6-liter turbo four produces exactly the same 188 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque as the previous version. The good news is that peak torque is now available at 1600 rpm, while the previous setup did not get the full rough to 2000 rpm. It is still a bit buzzy but noticeably less so than before. Nissan maintains that the added benefit of lower emissions and fuel efficiency that is better, the latter evidenced by an increase in 1-mpg city and highway mileage rating, which now stands at 26 and 31 mpg. We recorded 26 mpg combined driving.

Paired with the CVT as a single partner dance (two-wheel-drive Juke can be had with a six-speed manual through the 2014 model year), our all-wheel-drive Juke SL powertrain is fit to drive 3205-pound hatchback. With a zero-to-60 and quarter mile times 6.9 and 15.4 seconds, it's easy to get out accelerate competitors like 2015 Jeep Renegade 4 x 4 with a 180-hp 2.4-liter four and nine-speed automatic (8.8 and 16.8), and AWD Honda HR-V in 2016 with a 1.8-liter four and CVT (9.5 and 17.4). Nissan integrated control (I-CON) system provides normal, sport, and Eco drive mode, which adjusts throttle, steering and transmission response. It goes without saying that we preferred settings.

Leading acceleration aside, this is not the type of powertrain that inspire deep analysis or criticism; While the entry of Nissan gearlike "step" in the CVT, we find the easiest way to get the most smiles per mile is just to place the transmission in drive, select the sport mode, and mash the gas pedal. (Not to mention the fact that we recorded a feeling of "sneak" in CVT when manually shifting at 6250 rpm.) All 177 lb-ft of torque available from 1600 to 5200 rpm, which helps to take the drama out of merging maneuvers. Instead, the CVT is not shy about letting the wind machine and mingle with the 6400-rpm redline. AWD system and various amount of torque sent to the rear 50/50 split, traction plentiful.

Equipped with 17-inch tires Goodyear Eagle RS-A 215/55, we managed to figure Juke lateral acceleration of 0.84 g on a 300-foot skidpad us, handily defeated the Renegade 0.78 g and 0.80 g numbers recorded by the all-wheel-drive Honda HR-V. Speed-sensitive electric power steering to get the job done with accuracy good direction, but with shades of synthetic boring. However, smallish 99.6-inch wheelbase and rear wheel torque vector AS-which increases the amount of torque sent to the rear wheels outside in hard cornering - add Juke's already nimble behavior. Tromping on the brake pedal disclose decisive action and easily modulated braking. Transportation Juke to stop from 70 mph required 177 feet of asphalt.

Tight spots
Although Nisan temples are five passenger vehicle, we found it difficult in most circumstances to suppress even two people to the backseat. While it is possible for a pair knaggy individual lengths to get conveniently located in front, behind the front seats slide write rear seat essentially unusable. We found it much better to fold the rear seatbacks forward, a small increase, 10.5 cubic feet of cargo space for a little less than 35.9 cubic-small, creating a kind of quasi-shooting brake. In this configuration, the original Juke displays little utility.
Still they were not sure that the Juke has the conscious side need only consider that the base MSRP of $ 27.765. After tacking on mats and cargo mats ($ 210), plus a central armrest ($ 250), we Juke SL AWD rang in at a cool $ 28.225. The number was rubbing shoulders with vehicles such as the Honda CR-V EX AWD (base price $ 27.675) and Mazda CX-5 Touring AWD ($ 27.345), two vehicles with a tad less but the attitude of a lot more interior space. But for introverts who want a turbo engine tenacious in small AWD crossover, Juke is a serious business.

Interior, design and technology

The major drawback of compensation for the design space is very striking and some technology is really useful, especially in terms of safety.
When launched in 2010, Juke is a breath of fresh air in the car market contractors are bored with conventional superminis. The design divisive means you're either a fan of the five-door crossover unique or you don't- but over the years, cars have become more familiar appearance. Now, after a soft spot cosmetic surgery in the middle of 2014, the Juke looks sharper than ever before.

It is truly the best-selling car 10 in the UK in 2014, so Nissan styling still proving popular. Mobil trademark wide grille, large and angle floodlight higher light clusters on the front wing mean it rivals Mazda CX-3 for visual appeal and more interesting than the Renault Captur - Europe's most popular compact crossover.
